Happy Blog Day!

It's finally here. Blog Day! I know what you are thinking...just another day that Hallmark made up so you can spend $3.99 on a card. Don't worry. It's free and meaningless. Like Earth Day.

As a practicing bloggite, I am supposed to recommend five other blogs to people. Here are my offerings.

1. Shibby McShib's Crib. A collection of high minded articles about college life.
2. Cool stuff you don't have.
3. J-Walk Blog. Interesting for a few reasons. The author is a real author. He lives in Tucson. His name is John Walkenbach. We get wrong-number calls to our house nearly everyday for a Tom Walkenbach. Weird.
4. The Kirk Report. A great investment blog.
5. PostSecret. Funny sad scary pictures.

How Will Your Adventure End?

"If you think wearing that scarf as a fashion statement was a huge mistake, turn to page 85."

"If the scarf-safari jacket look works for you, turn to page 95."

I miss these books.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our second wedding anniversary. It feels great to be tolerated. Even better to be loved. I love you!

My Reinforced Retreat

I'm all about bidding on this little piece of heaven. Possible tag lines:

"Survive the real estate BOOM!" (sorry)
"Imagine your equity if we invade Venezuela!"
"Experience underground Colorado!"
"Seller says very little radioactivity."

You Don't Say?

Master of the obvious, Alan Greenspan, predicts that the housing market will "inevitably" cool. Even the home bulls wouldn't argue this ridiculously benign statement. You may recall his harsher words in 1996 cautioning against "irrational exuberance" regarding asset prices. Cyclical market behavior is a way of life, my friends. In the words of another famous cat lover, Ernest Hemingway, the sun also rises.

So We Begin

The Old Man. Strangely, neither old, nor a man, but a cat.
